Your Digital Product Launch in 7 Primary Steps

Your Digital Product Launch in 7 Primary Steps

Step #5 Generate Your Listings & Offer

Once you have your product created and your sales copy ready, it will be time to create the listings and offer for your launch. Every platform is unique in how you list a product for sale on their site.

ClickBank differs from JVZoo, which differs from Warrior Plus. It is possible for you to launch on all three networks, but you will have to create different sales letters for each platform.

All of the platforms have great databases explaining how to launch a product for sale on their site. You can also find detailed videos that show people the step-by-step process if you need them.

For our example, we will use Warrior Plus. On this site, you first have to set up a product listing for each item within your funnel. You will enter your product name and image and then choose a category and keywords as well as the type of content that you are selling.

Next, you will configure the product access for the consumer. This might be a download file that you upload to their system, or a URL for the download page that they will receive after purchasing.

Next, you will choose the licensing for your product, which is either personal or extended use. If you have additional terms you would like to convey to your buyers, you can enter that as well.

After that, you will set up your refund policy as well as your terms and conditions. You can require the buyer to acknowledge your terms if you like. Be sure to include support details in the next step, so that the buyer can contact you if and when they need assistance with the product they purchased.

You also have to agree to the disclosures that include choosing a product status, which shows if the product is open and available for sale or closed and unavailable. They will want you to confirm ownership that shows you have created the product and certified that you have the right to sell it.

The next step in the product listing is to set up your pricing. You can do a single payment, multi payment, or free product before you set the price point for it. If you want to limit the number sold, you will enter it in this step.

You can also choose what kind of payment you will accept, including PayPal and Stripe. If you want to collect additional information from your customers, such as their phone number, address, and country, you can turn those options on, but it’s not recommended usually because people are hesitant to fork over this information.

You will also set up your affiliate commission rate, which is where you agree to give your affiliates 50% (or whatever percent you choose) of the sale. You can also choose to not have an affiliate program at all if you want, but that is very rare and can cause you to lose out on a lot of profits.

Make sure when you are setting up your product listings that you go to the integrations and tracking section and connect your email autoresponder service. That way, when someone goes to buy your product, they will receive a confirmation email from you to get on your list so that you can market to them in the future.

Remember, if you have a front end as well as two upgrades, then you will have three total product listings for this launch – one for each item. Once you go through all of the options on this page, you will save your product listing and go to set up an offer.

Warrior Plus has a very easy offer set up system. First, you will set up the details for the main front end page. Choose the product and enter the sales page URL before you get the buy button code, install it on your sales page, and confirm that it works.

If you have any upgrades, you can connect those as upsells and downsells and you will see the funnel reflected as it should unfold at the bottom of the page. Go into the offer settings and make sure that your title is correct.

Here, you will enter an offer image as well as a description before you choose the category and keywords. You will select the status, either open or closed, as well as the start date and time for your launch.

If you want your product to be listed on the bestseller list and to be found by affiliates, then you will want to make sure you set the product to public. If this option is turned off, it will be hidden from others.

You can also choose to make your product eligible for Deal of the Day, which is a Warrior Plus honor where they promote your product at the top of their website as well as in an email.

There are other options you can go through if you want, including a pre-launch redirect and add copy or specific checkout banners and coupon fields. At the bottom of the page, make sure you complete the affiliate program section and enter the URL of your JV page so that affiliates can find more details.
